Well, after about 24 hours we finally were able to see our destination. Shot of Japan before landing

JAPAN! We landed at the Kansai International Airport. We were then instructed to find the luggage shipping department where we would be allowed to send one bag each directly to our apartment which would arrive the following day at the company's expense. Unfortunately for some reason they did not have our paperwork so we had to attempt with our very limited Japanese and their limited English to explain what we wanted and where we wanted it to go and when. Afterwards, we went in search of the bus line that we were supposed to take to get to the Hanyu Hotel where a very nice English speaking person would pick us up. Luckily, the bus workers majored in hand gestures so we were easily able to get tickets to our destination and get on the correct bus. After an hour bus ride, Patrick Tully took us and the rest of our luggage to our apartment. (insert pic here) Isn't it a cute building? It's 4 floors and apparently an old Japanese style building with old everything! After dropping off our stuff and paying our rent monies, Patrick walked us around our new home, Juso, for about an hour helping us get oriented. It was a looooong day but so far so good!
