Hi everybody another day of Quirke travels

Drove from Te-Anau to Queensland beautiful all the way by lake and mountains arrived about lunchtime and dined with wine of course to sustain us for the rest of the journey to Omarama. When we arrived we were checking our accomodation when there was a little glip our accomodation officer ( Bridget ) had us booked in Oamaru instead of Omarama but it worked out fine in the end she cancelled the other place and apologised for being a ninny and we got accomodation in Omarama Top 10 park.  Had an early night.Monday 9/3/09 drove to a little place called Geraldine where we had lunch sitting out in sun in a nice cafe with of course a glass of wine.  Drove on to Christchurch where we arrived about 4.30pm.  Went down town later and had a look around had a few drinks in an Irish Pub called The Bog.  Night now.
Tuesday 10/03/09  Went in to Christchurch and took tram tour went to botanic gardens very nice, climbed up church steeple (Marie) view was very good Had lunch and mooched around.  Went back to motel and lazed in spa for a while going out for dinner tonight.  Tomorrow we leave for Auckland on our next leg to L.A. and San Francisco  more soon
