Crossing the border to Argentina was quite an experience, all our shoes had to be wiped on disnfectant mats to prevent contamination....not sure what happens to the shoes in your suitcase tho...hmmm.
The Argentinain side has more of a national park feel with many walkways, cafe´s, wildlife areas and even a little train. We took advantage of all the area had to offer and by the end of the day, we were all falled out! There are only so many angles you can see the same water falls from and not get a tad bored. Mind you, we did save the best until last. We rode the train and then walked on bridges over calm, serene waters for a mile or more and as we turned the last corner we were hit with the sight and sound of the water crashing over the rocks. Unbelievably better than "Devil´s Throat". We were suspended right over the highest point of the falls watching the water falling hundreds of feet into the canyon below us...unforgetable.
Oh...and we saw some little racoon like animals which we´ve now forgotten the names of...oops!
All in all, a tiring, exhilarating, scorching hot day...defintely a memory to last a lifetime.
