I'm ready to leave. Okay, maybe I'm not there's still several things I need to do. Like pack. I still need to pack. Luckily I have all day tomorrow to work and pack. And pick up the last thing I need, drop off my computer, and so on, and so on. It's midnight already and there's still so much to do. Is sleeping something I really need to do?
Perhaps it's over-rated, that whole sleep thing. Luckily I have my list and I have my absolute focus. Or at least most of my focus (I'm tired). So this is my first entry - the pre-vacation still awake and supposed to be working entry. I haven't left yet so everything is still racing racing racing - which will continue until I set foot on the plane that takes off from San Francisco to take me to Vietnam. The first few days will be spent in Saigon, followed by a biking trip through the Mekong Delta. I'm honestly not sure what part of the trip I'm most looking forward to, the biking, the ancient temples, the hiking, the junk boats, just the being away and seeing a different part of the world, or all of the above.
There's still so much to do between now and then. 30 hours from now I'll be on my way. Until there - it's on.

Biking the Makong
Have a terrific time peddling through Vietnam. It's the best way to see a country other than on foot. Take Vitamin C when your muscles start to fatigue.
Can't wait to see and hear more!
