Sydney - 23rd February 2008. Dennis was up at 5:40 to witness the arrival into Sydney Harbour, stupendous, a beautiful start to a beautiful day. We took a cab to the Aquarium at Darling Harbour where we met Kathleen, Barry, Mark, Kerrin, Josh and Ali quite a family reunion. The Aquarium was a fabulous insight into the marine life of Australia. Off to lunch at the hotel Grace then as Mark and family departed Aunty Teresa and her friend Thelma arrived. So lovely to see them both we spend the afternoon catching up on all the news. We then went to Aunty Teresa's club for a fantastic Chinese meal, the prawns were the best we had ever tasted. So after tearful farewells we wereoff, back to the ship. What a great day with our lovely Aussie family. The atmosphere in Sydney was out of this world there was such a buzz around the harbour with all the excitement of the ship being docked at Central Quay. We overlooked the Opera house from our balcony just the right place to be.

Saturday's visit
Hello Dennis and Irene. Saturday was a wonderful day for us meeting up with you. Sydney really turned it on! What about that Chinese meal!!
We had a few hours on Sunday afternoon before we had to go to the airport so we went down to the Quay and also took a harbour cruise. It was a great way to see your 'wee boat' up close.

I have finally caught up with the blog i have been extremely busy, all of the places look fabulous, so much to see and do!! I loved the pictures of you both with all the aussie family, it must have been a great day to see them, spending time to re live family memories with them. All is well here Colin and I when down to Ma and Pa's for the Mothers day weekend we all when took them to the garden centre as Lacock and later we when out for dinner on saturday evening, Mum and Dad were on good form. I spend Friday evening in the new Thermal Bath Spa with Teresa and Kirsty for a twilight light visit - very nice, it was a great laugh!! Anyway take care lots of love Maureen xxxxxxxx

Over half way now & So much more to see, expect you will have taken a stack of Photos!!Going to be a very stormy day on Monday, hope its not as bad as predicted!!Had a good Mothers Day with Mum, Dad, Maureen,Coiln and family, its all very early this year.
