The ride under La Manche was suprisingly short, leaving Paris (Gare du Nord) at 14:13, I've arrived to London (St. Pancras) at 15:26 (local time, mind the 1 hour difference in time zones). Unlike Paris, London's train stations and "Tube" (subway) are very well-organized and clean. I easily bought a multiple ride Oyster card and found my station, Swiss Cottage, without a hinch. The hostel I booked looks very nice, rooms seem to be clean, so I'm going to get a shower now and look for a place to grab a late lunch :)
