Cooling Off in Northwestern Michigan

We brought Mom up here to Interlochen State Park on Friday - and woke up to that "back to school time" feeling, with temperatures in the high 50's! It's remained cool here all weekend, and despite predictions of rain, we haven't had any yet. Our site in the state park is almost directly behind Jill and Rick's family "compound" of three cabins on Duck Lake. We've enjoyed great dinners over at their place each evening, and met a lot of their friends, who also have kids at the Interlochen Center for Music and Arts ("Band Camp" to the kids). Today, we'll go over there to hear the band concert and to see our Nephew, Nate, who's going into his Junior year at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor. He plays the sax and also the cymbals in the marching band.
