in Monroe, Washington on Tuesday, and have been thoroughly enjoying the only completely sunny, beautiful days we've had in what seems like months!
Our plan was to go sightseeing in Seattle today (it's about 50 miles from here), but Greg woke up with a really bad backache, and long drives and long walks were just not in the cards.
But it's been beautiful here - perfect temperature, lovely campsite with beautiful, old growth trees all around,
so we've enjoyed the opportunity to sit still and soak up our surroundings. This afternoon, we went over to the pool(s) -
there's an adult pool, a family pool, a wading pool, and a hot tub, and between walking in the pool and sitting in the hot tub, Greg's back feels somewhat better, so we'll see how things go tomorrow. There's so much to see here - The Museum of Flight, the Space Needle, Pike Place Market (yeah - I know, they mis-spelled it!), Harbor Cruises - more than we have the time or money for, but we hope to take a good stab at it. 'Til then - I'll place a map pin, and maybe a photo or two of the area around our "yard"!
