A small campground with full hookups is our home for the night. Not much around here, other than trains and highway traffic noise! But a pull-through site makes it easy, no need to disconnect the car and tow dolly...we pull in, set up, I do a load of laundry and make dinner, we watch tv and then go to sleep. In the morning, we put the awnings back up, tuck the satellite dish back underneath, disconnect the hoses and electricity, and we're on the road again, bright and early! We're always happy to be able to take advantage of one of our camping memberships for our cross country travels like this...it's called Passport America, and for $30 or $40 a year, it provides us with hundreds of rv parks and campgrounds at half price! Some are quite classy resorts (like the night before last - Cutty's), and some are just small, mom-and-pop campgrounds, but at prices that generally come in well under $20 a night, they make our overnight stops very affordable!
