Overnite in Vegas, and a pretty drive back to AZ

We flew out of cold and snowy Michigan Monday evening, arriving back in Las Vegas around 9 p.m. Knowing that the drive back to Apache Junction was a good 5-6 hours, we had booked a room in Vegas for the night, and were very pleasantly surprised at what nice rooms there were at Sam's Town - and, we had a heck of a deal ($33/King, booked through Travelocity), maybe because it was the Monday after Thanksgiving. Anyhow, it was a clean, roomy, comfortable room, with high thread count sheets that felt luxurious, and smelled so fresh and clean that it was hard to believe they had been washed in a big load commercial washer!
Our drive back to Apache Junction was without incident, with many great photo ops at Hoover Dam and the surrounding area, and another beautiful pink sunset once we got back here.
As always, it felt SO good to be home, sleeping in our own bed, with our own down pillows and comforter. We've become very spoiled always being able to bring our home and bed along with us these past 3 years!
