Here we go, the point of the whole visit! Flower-Disneyworld :) a.k.a. Keukenhof.
We took a direct train to Leiden (about 30 minutes); at the station we bought a combination ticket for bus/park entrance. There was a long wait, but when we got to the park there was a long line for tickets which we got to bypass, so it came out pretty evenly. The bus took about 25 minutes. Not much to actually "say" about Keukenhof that the pictures can't say for you. It was really beautiful, and the flower display was different from when Mike and I went last year. It was late enough in the season last year that it was pretty much all tulips. This time it was full of hyacinths, daffodils, and tulips. Mom was such a trooper, we were there for almost 5 hours!! An added bonus was all the beautiful tulip fields we rode past on the train on the way to and from Leiden. Didn't get any pictures of those, but they were magical. Enjoy the photos!!
