Yesterday, being my last day I had to show D and H the old farmstead so they could take volunteers there in the future and remove some fencing (plus it's cool...) D wasn't feeling to well so after that he heading back and H, myself and the 3 new girls did a boundary check along the Eastern Line from the zig-zag to the cliff face. Then, because we did that in good time (and at a fairly slow pace even) we headed down Bass Dam Rd to Main Rd. This was a cool way to spend my last day because it's my favourite road for seeing little critters (as Ar would say, lol). Our only siting was a flash of what we have concluded to be a mongoose though... and some guinea fowl being their normal stupid selves and not moving out of the way
The afternoon was all about washing and packing for me, everyone else headed out to put up a few signs that hadn't been done and I ran down the batteries on my ipod and finished "The Silver Chair" from my Narnia book. I decided I couldn't read the entire"The Last Battle" in a day so I've reluctantly sent it home to be finished when we meet again, haha. I can however start on reading Wicked which J gave to me (not as good as the stage show apparetnly but given I'm yet to see it I'm hoping I like the book.)
Today I've been running errands around town (after saying my goodbyes to Ca, P, Fiona and Simon (Fiona peed on me as my goodbye present, haha)) and then after I finish this one, it's just a matter of waiting for my pick up... and hoping my mobile battery which has suddenly dropped down will last too!
But bring on the next adventure!
