I've been in Costa Rica for what will be 2 weeks tomorrow. I haven't done much aside from go to the beach, drink beer, swim in the pool, drink vodka, walk/glide in the jungle, drink tequila. I've been at casa de Jill through the stays of Linda and Kirby, John and Lizzie, Peachs and Jim. Staying here has been more comfortable than I could have imagined, and, as I know I've stated many times, I'm a bit worried that the rest of this journey will be harder because of it. Oh well.
Since I last wrote I have done the aforementioned things many times, but also a few adventures outside the norm. One day John/Jim, Peaches and I went for a (free) canopy tour. That was quite exciting--sliding along cables through the jungle 40-75 feet above the forest floor. Saw lots of Titi monkeys, and had an annoying guide que se llama "el mono."
The next day we drove for an hour + past naranjito up into the mountains to visit some spectacular waterfalls
Met quite a few interesting people, and now have more contacts in foreign countries than I did before. Maybe if I get to go to Ireland next year I can visit my new friends in france, austria, and germany.
Tomorrow I leave for Nicaragua. Ill be on the 6am directo bus a San Jose, and then Ticabus north at 12:30 to Rivas. From there (depending on how late I arrive) I will either head try to catch a ride to San Juan del Sur for the night, or hopefully find a room to stay in in Rivas. After that, Ometepe. Or maybe Ill ride the bus all the way to Granada tomorrow, who knows.

Green Page Moth
. Was very cool, though the ride was a bit rough (I imagine lizzie wasn't too pleased). Stayed there for an hour or two, and forwent (past tense of forego?) the planned picnic of chicken on the run and black beans in favor of returning a casa for lunch.
