Back in Rome we settled into our hostel and headed for the Roman forum.
This is the former center of ancient Rome and had the burial sight for
Julius Ceasar. The state of ruins is not as nice as the collesium. Alot
of the churches and buildings had their marble facades torn away during
the renassance to be used elsewhere. We also saw a few other sights in
Rome that we missed the first time (like the Spanish steps). Other than
that, the majority of the time back in Rome was slow paced and
relaxing.
