Back in Florence today we headed to to the Uffizi gallery early in the
morning to beat the queue. We got in about an hour after it opened and
toured the mueseum. Some of the highlights include a free standing
piece by Michelangelo, three pieces by Leonardo and an entire rooms for
Raffael and Botticelli. I was suprised how much I liked the work by
Botticelli. I hadn't heard of any of his painting before. The famous
painting was the Birth of Venus which was impressive.



After finishing the museum we relaxed the rest of the day preparing for our retun to Rome.
