Well - it took 26 hours but I made it to the very south tip of South America. Ushuaia is an interesting town. Its got a ski town feel to it. The hostel I´m at is very nice and has a GREAT view, then again, its hard to go anywhere here without a great view. Today I saw the ship at the dock and it suddenly hit me I´ll be on that for a LONG time. Also - 53 meters is a smaller boat in person than I thought it would be - I sure hope this turns out well. I don´t see there being much other option - it will probably be a love it or hate it kind of thing. I spent the majority of today roaming around town, taking pictures and what not. Everything here is pretty cheap and the people are friendly. I´m most surprised by the total lack of touts. No one has harassed me to buy anything yet. this is a completely different world than Southeast Asia.
