I awoke to an apartment readying itself to farewell its 3 month plus residents and quickly slipped out for a delightfully crisp morning walk to Albert for milk and the Coffee Co for Stephan's morning caffeine supply. A hurried, but orderly packing session later and they were ready with bulging cases to trudge out the door, into the waiting taxi and off for their train to Germany.

I spent the rest of the morning skyping my one, blogging and replying to a few emails which had built up. I headed across to Episode to riffle through their summer stock and I had to realign myself with a new layout since our adventures there together.

I returned to Bob to say hi to Isaak, who I then showed around the town a little. He had spent a part of his morning in a 'coffee shop' so after an hour or so of walking, high, without having eaten he was feeling quite green. I found him something for a late lunch and we said our farewells for the day; he to sleep off the giddiness in time for a night out and me to wander, lost in a daze of beauty and charm, along the ambling canals of Amsterdam.

I had a creamy salmon pasta dish for dinner and followed this with a large cheese platter and some of our favourite chocolates. I even found real tropical juice, which was a nectar done by the trusty Albert corporation. There was no added anything and it was thick and tasty and perfect.

I wish you were here. I miss you. I love you.

Always, your Flop
