After class I braved the hot Parisian streets and walked through a new area in search of the Musée Rodin. An hour and a half later and I was at the front gates to the museum, only to discover Monday is the museum's day of rest. I took a stroll through the open front garden and caught glimpses of statues on the other side of the wall. They look to be set in a delightful oasis of greenery and roses and I'd very much like to return to walk through the house and grounds and experience the sculpting legend closely.

Wandering, lost, through the streets of Paris as the evening settled in was quite an experience and one I'll remember fondly.

I headed home and made a tasty, garlic-heavy vegetable dish with broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, capsicum, lentils, tomato, fresh coconut milk and parmesan. We settled down in the courtyard with a bottle of rosé and our workbooks, preparing for the dictation exam and phonetics test Tuesday.
