Yesterday at the farm was a lot of fun. Uncle Ed was cooking everyone homemade ravoli. We had to eat in shifts as the pot could only hold so many ravoli at once. Somehow I ended up with the sausage ravoli which were very spicy, so I only had two. Isaiah actually ate three. We also had fresh smoked chicken.
Isaiah and his cousin Ryan loved the horses. Every time they weren't eating, they were with the horses. Isaiah also liked to play on the haystacks. They are very excited about the chance to ride them today. Although I had worned Isaiah, I guess he didn't tell Ryan about the electric fence. I fell off a bike into that fence 24 years ago. I still remember that shock. Yes, now you all know what is wrong with me, though you could consider it shock therapy because there was that head injury back when I was a kid.
My Aunt Louise made a bunch of aprons that have "Williams Family Reunion" on it. Though I heard they are only for the 'volunteers' those who cook and clean. :-) We also had cake for my birthday. Since Isaiah's birthday was just 10 days before mine, we shared the cake cutting time. My mom had bought it from a local store called 'Cash Wise". It was chocolate with raspberry filling and white icing.
Two thunderstorms passed quickly through. And after each storm a beautiful rainbow appeared. Except for the storms, the weather was pretty perfect. I love how it stays light so late at night.
