Dear Friends and Family, we continue to have some aftershocks in the range of 4.8 - 5.0 but have not had to leave home yet today.

We did evacuate from our host family's home for about 4 hours yesterday because we were told another big quake was supposed to occur. Fortunately, this didn't happen. We watched the local news last night for about 30 minutes and the devastation in outlying areas is unbelievable. There is not much we can do except pray for these families.

We have managed to get plane tickets from Chengdu to Xichang for tomorrow morning. We will only have one day in Xichang but then will be on schedule (hopefully) for the remainder of our journey.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to upload any pictures but will have many stories and pictures to share when we return home.
