It was all of three birthday cards for Ian but many telephone greetings. Ian's first duty this day was to empty the waste of the RV and unfortunately for him and through our naivety as RV drivers the vestibule he was to collect 'it’ in was too small and he was christened with a spray of effluence. Happy Birthday. Shower for Ian and then we were off to meet Carl and Kellie in downtown Victoria. We took a walk to the museum but failed to venture in as it would have cost Can$72 for us all. We are so fortunate in London not having to pay for the museums, as with exception to Washington all museums in US and Canada are very expensive. We went on to the park and then to the insect museum (not quite the number 1 highlight but the kids voted for it). The Priests went on to a great Italian restaurant for a birthday tea for Ian and then we went to meet Carl, Kellie at their friend’s house for a farewell drink before they returned to California and we headed north.
