It's a hard life being a spider. Laying back in your web all day, waiting for something to happen. Which is exactly what the spider in the toilet does all day. I'm not entirely sure he's still alive but I swear I saw him move. I decided he needed a name if he was going to be spending time in my company, so I called him Bob. Bob is perhaps the smallest resident in my Godmother's house, they range from Bob, through a bearded dragon, cats, dogs and even a few humans.
In all seriousness I was given a very warm welcome by my Godmother Liz and her family. I was even given my own room, with drawers included, which is quite a novelty when you've been traveling for a while. Being able to actually leave my toothbrush in the bathroom was the icing on the cake. My initial two weeks here were spent eating good food, catching up with admin and relaxing. I did venture briefly into the city centre on the ferry which was novel. We also went to the theme park which was good fun. Other than that, I went swimming off the jetty in the back garden a few times which is pretty handy and quite...refreshing!
