I was happy to be arriving back into Cape Town, it was nice to be somewhere familiar again. Unfortunately, I had developed a cold on my last day in Namibia, but at least I had time to be ill in Cape Town, as I'd already done most of the touristy stuff here. The one thing I did managed to do, was to get up table mountain. It was a gorgeous Sunday morning (which doesn't happen very often in Cape Town), so I headed up table mountain with someone I'd met at the backpackers who also happened to be going up that day. When we got there we found that most of Cape Town had also decided to go up that day and were now queuing half way round the mountain for the cable car, but at least it was a queue with a view. I had hoped to do the abseil, but it involved a 40 minute walk back up to the top, which I wasn't well enough to do. I also couldn't pay for it, as my bank card refuses to work in the most common cash point here, and the only atm in the area that it worked at was broken that day, so I didn't have the money anyway. So we just had a walk round once we got up there and bumped into several people we knew.
Other than that, I spent most of my time in CT shopping, sorting tickets and resting, as I was taking industrial strength cough medicene that just knocked me out.
