. Beautiful weather again. From there we headed out into the city again and strolled down to the market. We saw some strange things there - you be the judge
!! Afterward we went over to a cafe and grabbed some food and took in some sights, then strolled around a bit then headed to the train station.
We got on the train just fine and prepared for our 10 hr. overnight train ride into Krakow, Poland
. We did manage to get some sleep but I had one international incident as I tried to go to the bathroom around midnight. I ran into a Polish train conductor and a Japanese female passenger. Needless to say there were a lot of words exchanged with nobody understanding a word! Past that, we got into the station OK around 6:30 this morning. We got a minibus to go up to see Auschwitz I and II. It was really interesting and sad. Sad to think that so many innocent people could have been brutalized and killed at these camps. Interesting to think that one man could lead a country into doing such things with such control, lack of remorse, and structure
We managed to get back into the city without any significant issues. The ride home was interesting AGAIN. This time once we got off Kelly had to go to the bathroom #1 really bad so we end up in a downstairs bar, really dark. Anyone ever see Pulp Fiction where Bruce Willis ends up downstairs in a store? We are headed there. I get a beer so she can go to the bathroom, two guys get up and follow her and the bartender closes the door. YIKES! We got out of there and got back to our hotel. WOW is it nice
! Great place right on the city square
. We are getting ready for a nice dinner here. What a great day again. The weather was nice - a little foggy/drizzle in the morning but ended up around 70 again with overcast.
Well, we finished up our last day in Budapest yesterday. Had a nice breakfast up in the Executive Lounge with a great view of the city
