Since the Badlands were on our list of 'Must sees' we drove over to the
Badlands and found out they definitely live up to their name.  At 102
degrees today it was not inviting to walk around the badlands any more
than we had too! We entered at Pinnacles Entrance and drove the Badlands
Loop over to the Northeast Entrance .  We were in awe of the land forms
and deposits left behind by water and ash. We did get out and walk around in a couple of places but did not take the 2 or 5 mile hike.. maybe on a cooler day.

The loop is at the eastern edge of the park.  More to the west are Buffalo herds and possibly other animals.  Since we have seen a million buffalo on this trip we decided the geological formations were more important.  We did see a doe deer with two fawns and a single doe on her own.  The fawns were cute as one of them still had spots.

We were worried about the quality of our pictures.  It was very harsh light and so very hot!  Thanks to Lightroom we got a few out of the cameras that were good enough to post.  I would love to go back when we have some weather formations either coming or going.

We have also been seeing a lot of "Prowler" cars.  A Chrysler car produced between 1997 and 2002.  They look hot, but are only "Ok" as a super sport car.  We see them everywhere we go.   On the badlands loop we came across a group of 10 all driving together.
