Day 45 Canada
Today was a simple day of travel.
We left the RV park and set sail through some great farming country, following a lake and river system alongside us for most of the way. I mention here about a choice Earnie and Rick made before we left this park. It was decided to "dump" our grey water tank, and while Karon was finishing her teeth etc, in the restrooms, we moved the Castle to a dump site, no problem, job done Earnie and Rick are ready to go, Where is Karon?
We look back to our site and here she is sitting at the table pointing to the ground in a demanding way wanting the Castle back where she left it! Whoops, but gee it did look funny! We might have to be good boys for a while to allow her time to get over the fact the castle wasn't where she left it. :)
The road was good with plenty of room even when it came down to one lane each way.
It is rated at 100kmh and this is easily maintained.
Rick and Earnie had decided to share the driving in shifts just to allow the journey to keep rolling.
We have managed to book an RV park in Anchorage from the 29th to ensure we are in time we have decided to keep moving at a good pace between towns and ensure we are there relaxed.
The country side is pretty and a lot of grass and some cropping as well, with Cattle, dairy cows and horses all having turns at being visible.
Rick managed to spot three deer during his "time out from driving" They appeared content grazing in the same area as three horses , but close to the road with traffic driving past.
We are now in a place called Prince George, here the highway splits, one route takes us on the 16 and then the 37 to Watson Lake in the Yukon, the other takes the 97 north through Dawson BC and then onto Watson Lake.
A decision will be made shortly as the route to be taken.
Rick spoke to the guy in the next site, and the route 16/37 is gravel road a fair stretch, and the other is blacktop.
Either way it is around 23 hours travel time and we will have to choose the route with the best RV park options I guess.
The Mosquitoes have found us at this park and BOY they are they BIG.
I will mention here I have received a couple of emails from friends and I thank you and will respond as soon as I am able to sort "another IT challenge. ( I am able to receive but not send response for whatever nasty gremlin is controlling this machine!)
I thank you for the emails and will focus my energies and hopefully it will help.
Moving forever north ward.
The travellers
Well all was going well the signals were clear until Earnie starts using both hands around the top of his head, over his eyes and then swing them back and forth! Rick just cracked up laughing, it did look so funny in the mirror, The fact Earnie had a heap of flies or mossie's should not have distracted him from the normal signals surely?
Well here we are and a rain cloud came over that covers the mountain views for about ten minutes, then it cleared and looking behind the castle the sight of a glacier heading directly towards us is impressive, well Earnie and Rick think so, Karon is still out "considering the idea, of being so close to snow/ice"
The RV park is a lovely little one with ok facilities, if we consider in the RV book we are using the other options had no flush toilets and pay $ for showers and one didn't have showers, so we are happy enough.
No internet connection at this point, so again a 2 or 3 day upload when we get online.
The road is still taking us north.

Clean the Castle time
I reckon you would have to ensure you didn't have about 6 or more on you at a time cause they could possibly pick you up and take you away for the rest of the summer.I will mention here I have received a couple of emails from friends and I thank you and will respond as soon as I am able to sort "another IT challenge.
