Day 14 - 20 May 2008.
Pack up and leave time.
This process is also getting a little quicker as we learn the ropes of RVing in the USA. Packing up and disconnecting the utilities and ensure the awning is rolled and locked.
We decided to revisit the Camping world to obtain a few extras as well call at what became our local Supermarket from our previous 1st RV park in Anaheim.
The trips are getting a little easier as we become to understand Mandy's terms and Karon has become quite proficient with the input and understanding the notes etc. (to the point she can tell Rick the exact speed he is doing and how much he is "over the speed limit" it actually red flags the speed as you go over. So Mandy knows the speed limits on the roads)
GEE another aid to control Rick A few "Little Trucks" around us
A few "Little Trucks" around us
!
After the few items from the camp shop (Including a small barby, Not readily available thus far at the RV Parks, and Rick prefers barb- b - q's)
The shopping done so the food bins are full and lunch is next.
Earnie suggested we visit the "all you can Eat" Homestyle buffet. We feed ourselves for the total cost of $23. A really good deal and it allows an eggs or tomato on toast for tea/dinner.
Reset Mandy and away we go.
Leaving LA behind us along freeways, we stopped for a 20 min cuppa stop because the driver was a little tired.
The castle was a little dwarfed amongst the 18 wheelers at the rest stop but we had a chance to test run the generator to brew the coffee.
Then a relaxed drive to the RV park as pictured in San Diego. A relaxed time settling in with no challenges. (sssshhhh don't tell  Murphy)
Well goodnight from me and good night from the others.
By the way thanks for the comments on the site we appreciate them and glad you guys are tracking us. It kinda is nice to know you are sharing the fun and adventures along side us.
GO the Maroons!!  PROUD TO BE A QUEENSLANDER!
