The first night in The Castle is over.
Poor Rick had a shocking sleep after the traumatic experience of playing cards with Earnie and Karon.
Gee Karon won two games and Earnie won two games. Is this another Garland conspiracy?
We were picked up by the shuttle and dropped at Disneyland and proceeded to California adventure.
First experience was a 3d muppet show which set the fun for the day.
A wander through the Hollywood section brought us to the Hollywood hotel and discussion ensued as to whether to ride or not. Karon being a little reluctant because it "looked to much"
But assured by her keepers she followed in
Are we there yet?
.The ride took us to a great height in a "lift" and then "dropped us" a little quick.
We survived!!
A few other sights to see and then to a roller coaster ride (Well named being: California Screamer)Earnie and Rick climbed onto but Karon elected to be bag holder. It was FAST
From there to settle the boys equilibrium down it was a cuppa and lunch.
We wandered into an interactive animation show with a turtle which was an interesting experience and like most things Disney well done.
From here we went white water rafting in the Grizzly bear country, a wetting experience but in the heat and sun we didn't complain.
Then to another experience of walking trails and rock climbing, and yes Karon walked on a rope bridge!
We managed to find our way with a fast pass to the Soarin' Over California ride.
This experience is high on the list for a must do, and highly recommended. It was a wonderful view and we certainly felt as if we were flying with Earnie telling us to "lift your feet" to ensure we cleared the trees
Mickey Mouse has turned up at last
.Time and tired travellers decided to have the female experience of shopping before cancelling the shuttle and walking home.
The swimming pool at the RV camp was really wonderful.
Dinner in The Castle (shared cooking duties between Rick and Karon) of Bacon, tomato and eggs was
Like ***** normal food.!!
Then Rick caught up with a couple on Skype voice and another card game. GEE this time Karon won three games before we called it quits.

Hi folks...
Glad to hear you have settled in and 'appear' to be having fun. The Castle looks great (How's the serenity???). Disappointed to see that you have ditched the signs that Earnie made for your trip (or hasn't it come to that yet?). Keep the photos coming!

Rick, You should know by now that mum doesn't play unless she knows she is going to win. Mum glad to hear you finally got some shopping in. Pop do you want to swap places, no cooking that sounds good to me.
