Well the sleep was wonderful!
A little late in starting but a wander to the golden Arches for breaky. I reckon a change is due tomorrow for this guy!
Then to the bank to open an account.
We did it!! again a very helpful Young lady that understood our requirements and set everything up as required with card access, essential for the three travellers.
Lunch (yee haa! not Maccas!!) :) at a bakery type restaurant. Earnie and Karon had the soup and half a sandwich and Rick enjoyed a Shrimp and scallop caesar salad (YUM)
A decision was made to check out an RV place AND (wait for it!!! drum roll). we would rely on the electronic navigator to "test it out" and gee it worked even telling the driver when to move into the left or right lanes in time to turn. (Still not the way the human navigator might have taken us and one "over shooting" of an exit by the driver) we found the RV site.
It is called RV America and we did a deal on a purchase/buy back of a 29foot RV with a queen size bed in the back and a double over cab bed. The shower and toilet are separate and a good size fridge with a freezer etc.
Included we have the kitchen utensils and cutlery and sleeping bags, pillows/towels etc. Airconditioned with a generator as well.
On road price $ 28,567 including taxes. and if we travel less than 12,000 miles a gaurenteed buy back price of $15,500. A charge of 32cents per mile or reduction in price I should say if we go over the 12000miles.
We are happy with the deal. I will attempt to get some photos up in the next couple of days.
Home we came and bought some hot turkey breast and salad for dinner. Gee I found my guiness at only $1.50 a can so I had to have a beer before dinner. Mind you it was around 8pm by this time.
Karon has been busy sorting out tomorrows touristy stuff because we have finished our admin until the money arrives from OZ.
So tomorrow we become 3 in the thousands flocking into the gates of Disneyland (it is basically across the road) or we may end up going out to a medieval show and dinner some of you may be familiar with.
Again time for some sleep and thanks for taking the time to read our fun trip.

The excitment has began!!
Glad to see that traveling with Garlands hasn't changed. Trust pop to be frisked, and someone giving you 3 technology is scary (sorry couldn't resist). Glad to see you got your RV and a good buy. Boys are drolling over the word Disneyland, and they wanting to see more photos.
Glad you are having a great time already.
Love you all Sarah, Richard, Byran, Mitch and Jarrod
Welcome to the USA!
Hello Travelers,
So good to see you winging your way around SoCal, and doing it almost as well as natives! That's a tricky area to get your sea legs and it sounds like your getting a handle of things.
I will be out in the west coast for a business trip in about 10 days and here's my itinerary in case you are also in the same areas. Otherwise, will continue to follow your journeys and catch up with you at some point.
5/19 - Arrive San Diego in morning; drive to Orange County in afternoon; fly to Sacramento in evening
5/20 - Sacramento to San Jose to San Francisco; fly to Seattle
5/21 - Meetings in Seattle; fly to Denver
5/22 - Meetings in Denver; fly back to Washington DC
As you can see, I'm constantly on the move! But if you're anywhere where I will be we can try and meet for breakfast, dinner or cuppa.
Safe journeys!
Karisue
Hope Mickey Mouse wasn't scared!
Great to hear you have got the RV. Can't imagine the havoc you are going create now you are mobile!! Look out Mickey Mouse!. I went to that medieval show in Florida, it was great. Did you end up getting there. It is similar to the Outback Spectacular that is on the gold coast now. Can't wait to see photos either. Take care all.
Love mandy
ps. look to the left and the right when crossing the road!!!! (ALL THE TIME!) :)
