From Keith's diary:

Just an o'niter in Cloncurry and then it was through to Mt Isa.

Much prettier than I thought, although there's no hiding the fact it's a mining town.

Just out of town is Lake Moondarra, really pretty and a great place for a picnic lunch.

We didn't stay in Isa, instead deciding to press on towards the border.
