Today's the day - We're off on our trip 'round the block. It all seems a bit crazy, as we've only been in Brisbane for a week setting up the house. Actually, we're absolutely exhausted and in a perfect world we would have hung around for a month before leaving.

Mum & dad are here to send us off and will be taking care of things while we're away.

It's actually dad's 70th birthday today! Happy birthday Dad!

Our kit's looking rather awkward, with bikes on top of the Navara, bikes on the van's A- frame,the dog and of course the kids and us...

First stop: Hervey Bay, where we'll drop Poppy (the dog) off at Stuey's place.
