Lorraine, Adrian and I hit the beach today! It was Glenelg beach, about 20 kms from Adelaide centre and we covered the ground in a pleasant old-fashioned tram service. The beach was a bit unimpressive but Glenelg town centre had a vibrant cafe culture. We visited another museum there and a few bookshops. I had a banging headache and wasn't really up for it. I caught the tram back to Adelaide and had another afternoon sleep in the hostel. That evening I watched Arsenal v Tottenham with an English girl who works for the BBC's Football Focus amongst other things - cool job. So I didn't really get much done in Adelaide but it is a transit city for most.
