Well, at 9am we got in a mini-van and headed back to Chiang Mai. That was a quicker and more comfortable ride than the oversubscribed standing bus trip to Pai for certain! On arrival in Chiang Mai at around 1pm we caught up on a few things and got ready for our next big trip - a 12 hour ride from Chiang Mai to Bangkok leaving at 6pm!
At midnight we stopped for food and only after that could I fall asleep. Tomorrow would be Christmas Eve in Bangkok!
