Costa Rica is easily the richest country in central America and in some ways this makes it a less interesting place to visit. Although the countryside ie really beautiful you can get the same for a lot cheaper in other countries. The same goes for San Jose the capital, itīs really just a moern city with all the usual chains and shops there and one day was enough there for me. Although Costa Rica is a beautiful country there was no point staying there too long, you can get the same or better in surrounding countries for a lot less. So next stop would be Panama city before movinig on to South America.
