Home to about 18 million people, downtown Mexico city doesn't feel that crowded and is actually quite a pleasant place to hang out. Probably the surrounding suburbs are a lot more crowded  and there do seem to be a lot of roads but around the centre it is a really nice city.
One of the main attractions neas Mexico is the pyramids at Teotihuacan, site of some Pre Incan pyramids and home to the third largest pyramid in the world the 'Pyramid of the Sun'. I took a day trip out here and wasn't disapointed, not only are the pyramids very impressive, the place was quite empty which made such a change from places such as Angkor Wat were you could almost not move for the tourists. Even the hawkers were typically laid back Mexicans with only a half hearted effort to sell you some tourist tat.
Back in Mexico city , one of the must see attractions is Luchar Libre wrestling. Entry for ringside seats was about $6 and we weren't disappointed being right up with the action. Some of the wrestinling moves were actaully quite good but the real entertainment is the theatrics of the wrestlers and there interaction with the crowd who seem to take it all a little too seriously...
We weren't allowed to take cameras in but we got a few good photos later of us all wearing the masks you could buy outside. Definitely a must see in Mexico.
