It really wasn't how the title sounds. As two weary cycle tourers it could not have been less like the crazy alcohol/drug/gambling/stripper experience everyone else was there for.  Instead we spent the morning watching Andy Murray competently despatch Lubovic at Wimbledon and lazing around by the pool.

We then set out for an afternoon exploring the ridiculous hotels and casinos.  First it was The Bellagio where we treated to a dancing fountains show (it actually was pretty impressive).  Then we strolled through Caesars Palace trying our luck on the slot machines.  We blew a massive $2 before realising we didn’t have a Scooby doo what we were supposed to be doing.  Next was Flamigo, here we saw guess what…Flamingos.  We then took a walk along The Venetian Canals complete with gondalas and singing oarsman.  Finally it was The Wynn Resort and Casino where we got completely lost and decided that it was time to head back.  Indoor rain showers and groups of US teenagers with 1 ft cocktails strapped around their necks convinced us that we were best off tonight in our room watching a nice film (am I sounding old enough yet?).

Vegas was great fun and well worth the visit.  To cycle here is quite strange and it is certainly one of places we will remember.  Who knows, maybe I will come back here one day on my next stag doo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ONLY JOKING!

Miles Cycled:  0 - Dollars bet; 2 -Dollars won; 0 - Flamingos spotted; 8 – Eiffel Towers; 1 – Picture of naked ladies handed; 50 – Drunk USA college kids passed; 200
