Heaven to wake up snugly warm in our lovely dorm and find out that Mikey had done all of the blog writing in the hostel last night so that we didn't have to spend 2/3hours of our day off doing it! Had been very organised and bought cereal for breakfast already, unfortunately what we though was milk turned out to be some kind of bizarre liquid yogurt health drink - hazards of language barrier. When we dragged ourselves out of the hostel we found it was a beautiful sunny day and wandering around town has been amazing. Now we've got our guide book we actually know what things are, and Mikey has become a real tour guide. Couldn't find our hotel Dad, but will keep looking tomorrow when we pedal off. By 2pm we were very tired of walking, and I was not sure the long trek out to the Szechenyi  thermal baths was going to be worth it - SO wrong! It was incredible. They were like enormous outdoor baths, with bubbles and even a whirlpool. Amazing for tired muscles from the 68 mile sprint yesterday. We even had a beer in the poolside sunshine before taking the metro (which Neville tour guide says is the oldest line in Europe) back to the hostel. Tonight we are going to Skype home and friends and then I think Mikey is going to drag me to an Irish pub so he can watch the England game. It is his birthday tomorrow so I think its definitely ok!

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Mikey! Hope you have a lovely day, what a way to spend it. I've just spent the last half hour catching up on all your latest adventures; was most amused at your joy at spotting the ubiquitous Co-Op! It's so lovely to hear about all that you've been up to, and amazing to see your photos too.

Life has been pretty hectic, except I was slowed down by an evil cold last week (Ian thinks he gave me his; he may have done but it happens, however he felt v bad so I got a get well soon card and some beautiful roses, I am a very lucky and spoilt girl!). We were down here in Cornwall last weekend and went to St Michael's Mount on Sunday which was amazing, especially with the weather being so good and the tide being out so we walked accross the beach to the causeway. Never one to resist a cream tea I did indulge, after a yomp to the top of the castle to justify the calories!

I'm going up to London with Katy on Friday for the Dental Showcase, which is a fest of free dental stuff, heaven for me! Really looking forward to that and it's a good chance to go home for the weekend too. The Sunday night drive back down does not inspire me however; the A30 seems to get longer each time!

I shall send news of my freebie gathering soon-wish me luck, I have sharpened my elbows!

Lots of love xxx

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Nev. Sure it'll be one to remember!
Bloody hell lads, just caught up with your blogs after a few days not checking and it appears you've made it through two more countries! Mental but very impressive. We had a really wierd time in Bratislava when we went there as part of an inter-railing trip. The wierd space-age tower thing makes the whole place look oddly futuristic in a retro-sort of way. Not sure that makes much sense...Also when we were there the whole city was covered in life size cow art things which added to the general strangeness. Budapest is totally different and I hope you're having a brilliant time. Also incredibly jealous of your trip to the opera in Vienna.
Life here is hectic. School is ridiculous but half-term is not far away not and I'm counting the days. We're going to see a mortgage broker on Friday which is all jolly exciting and we've decided that we'd like to live in Hurstpierpoint or Plumpton - either way we'll be slightly nearer you I think which is all good. Thinking of you both lots and wishing you health and much happiness. Xxx

Love the pics! This looks nice but baths sound a little hot for me even though I like a good swim. Had a fab birthday, which I'll write up in a blog very soon :-) Hope you both very well and eating lots. I am! But fear not, certainly not enough food to sate my majestic appetite. Have a fabulous birthday and make sure you eat masses of cake. Lots of love and wags, xxxxxxxx

Hi Guys

Can't believe I missed sending a Brithday mesage yesterday - it wasn't as if we hadn't been warned of the event . Very sorry Mikey - hope you had a great day and weren't too dissapointed in the match.

I have just put Olaf down for is afternoon sleep and think I might do the same - I'm quite worn out!! Have go to arrange gym membership to get me in training for January whe E is planning to go back to work part time.

The weather here has been just glorious - not warm enough for outdoor spas but jolly nice all the same. A not coming down this w/e but will be here for the half term week for a bit of home cooking and TLC.

I am still feeling a bit crossed eyed at the pair of you eating 8 eggs in one sitting between the two of you!!!!! Have you never heard the exprssion "egg bound"

Take care and keep the blogs coming - we just love em.

All love Jojo, Christoper and sleeping baby!

Hi everyone, safe and sound on the Hungary - Romania border. Speak/write to you all soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on

Brilliant you too - can't wait to hear about it all. Dads and I went to the Tapas bar last night to celebrate 30years since we met!! Had a great time and know which dishes we'll definitely choose next time.
Off shortly to get that old crossword done with Jojo and to enjoy more of Christopher's marmalade!
Huge hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Tricia, not sure you know this rule but it should be "you two", not "you too" !!!!

You're too lat - I chastised her for this at breakfast over the crossword puzzle - but we both agreed it was best not to reead what we'd written or nothing would ever get sent!

LOL Jojo
