While in Girona, Oriol had me look at a bunch of postcards and pick what looked like the places I would like to see the most.  I immediately chose one showing an old castle next to a beatiful beach.  This was Tossa de Mar and the postcard did not lie.  This place is beatiful.

We were there near the end of the tourist season, so the town was not as packed as it would be in the summer.  The climb up the castle hill was very cool.  I took a ton of pictures, but a lot of them didn't come out clearly as we did this near dusk and the lighting wasn't great.

From the top of the castle, I got a good look at the area.  The old town is full of cafes and tourist shops.  A good number of hotels and apartment buildings surround it.  A large hill towers over the town and some incredible homes can be seen there.  Most of them are multi million dollar places owned by rich and famous Europeans.  Tossa de Mar is apparently a very popular vacation spot for people from the UK.
