There has been significantly more sunshine these last few days, but still not overbearingly hot. I'm hoping that the hotter weather to come will be a dry heat when it's not raining,, but what do I know?
The boys and I had a fun time at the local beach this past Sunday. They didn't bring their shovels, but they enjoyed throwing sand at the onrushing surf and darting away. It's really pretty rough most of the time, but fascinating to watch and play near. Lyle will fetch what I think are abalone shells if I throw them, until they get swept up in the surf and disappear.
Today a small contingent descended upon the school to check on the progress. A spontaneous visitor came by to inquire about enrolling his child. Less than two weeks to go before it opens and it's all getting closer to finished.
