We had my husband's 40th birthday party, and it was awesome!!! Pitchfork played, rain and all, and there was tons of food and oh my goodness, pineapple shots! yikes. Western Mass is, in my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful places on earth. There are more shades of green here than you can shake a stck at.
And the people value good food and spirits, and good company. When we left here for Cambridge, I was a little heartbroken, and I am much releived to be back for the next 24 days.
For anyone ever visiting Western Mass here is a list of my favorite places:
Sienna Restaurant, S. Deerfield
Chez Albert, Amherst
Fresh Side Cafe, Amherst
Rao's Coffee, Amherst
Henion Bakery, Amherst
Amanouz Cafe, Noho
East Heaven Hot Tubs, Noho
Gypsy Apple, Shelburne Falls
Clarkdale Farms, Deerfield
Richardsons Homemade Chocolates, S Deerfield
