We pulled out of St George this morning with a stop at the Mormon Temple of St George. The temple is gorgeous and we had a nice visit with the local folks giving us a tour of their facilities.

The weather was bright and sunny and in the low 90's which made for a good day to say good bye to Utah and head east into Navijo country. The Navijo nation has been very successful in developing their natural resources and tourism on the reservation that cover parts of four states. The trip took us across Glen Dam at Page Arizona which helps form Lake Powell which is the second largest man made lake in the United States. The lake is low but had a nice gain this year after heavy snows in the Rockies. We went through some really beautiful high dessert landscapes today on our way to Kayenta,Arizona. Dinner was in our room as Penny did not want to miss the final show of American Idol.

We plan to head toward the Four Corners Monument in the morning and then on to Mesa Verde National Park. We will stay in Durango, Colorado on Thursday evening, and then concentrate on getting our bikes back into the Midwest.

Penny here---------------Len, Judy, Kathy and Don-------------------you will enjoy this. Phil and I were a part of a Harley caravan for about 1 minute. Half of the group passed us and at the next passing zone the rest came by us. Thought you would get a kick out of this.
