We had a great day today despite some pretty high side-winds from the west.  The roads were busy but good.  Lots of trucks on I-5, even for a Sunday.  We started the day by attending worship services with Bob and Janet at Bayside Church in Granite Bay.  It was an amazing service and the worship is really exciting.  It was the first time I'd ever heard a church get excited when it was time to take the offering.  They really have embraced the concept of giving joyfully.  After church, we hit the road heading north.  We had an early lunch at a great little at the Oasis Grill in Dunnigan, CA.  We'd recommend it to anyone heading through.

We got to Albany about 6:30pm and went directly to my niece, Leaf's family's home.  My Nephew, Nason and his family where there too and we even got surprised when my sister, Susan was there.  She lives over in Redmond, Oregon and had come over to bring Nason's kids back from a weekend with Grandma.  She was the first one out the door and it was WONDERFUL to see my sister.  Between Brian and Leaf's and Nason and Amelia's families, we had a great bunch of kids there too.  We just love those kids.  They are great kids and just a lot of fun.  They also give some of the best hugs you can get!  Leaf had dinner waiting on us and to top off a great meal, we got the treat of fresh-picked peaches.  Barb (who by the way does not like peach fuzz - much like Brian) ate two!  I contained myself and had just one but if they don't lock the door tonight, I may run back and swipe one while they sleep.

We made it to the Comfort Inn about 9:00pm and got unpacked and here it is about 10:00.  I'll grab a quick shower and off to bed.  The "bum" as our New Zealand daughter-in-law says, is a little tired from a pretty long day in the saddle but we're having so much fun, who cares.

Tomorrow we will head to Corner number 2 in Blaine, Washington but will also see my brother John, his wife Alise and hopefully some of their boys in Marysville, Washington.  More on that tomorrow after we get to our next stop wherever God leads us. God Bless you all had keep watching.

Today we rode 555 miles and have ridden 1590 since leaving Las Vegas.

Barb's Notes:
We are watching the movie Wild Hogs on TV, how fitting. We need to be on the watch for the Del Fuegos.
I didn't come down with a cold after all, it may have been all of the prayers sent up on my behalf. Thanks to you all for your prayers!
Oregon is beautiful we saw a bear today on the side of the road, unfortunately he was taking a permanent nap. You just don't see that everyday.
