On our first full day in Banff, we explored the town and surrounding sights. We saw big-horn sheep on the road on Mount Norquay.  We drove on the Bow Parkway by the Sundance Range and the Vermillion Lakes.  The tourist info hyped Banff's hoodoos, so we drove to see them – all four of them.  Having seen hundreds of beautiful hoodoos in a previous trip to Bryce Canyon UT, we were not impressed with Banff’s hoodoos.  But we also drove to Lake Minnewanka which was as impressive as hyped.
