We weren't sure exactly what to do today and so had a bit of a lie in before getting up and having our breakfast of toast and Nutella again. We bumped into Kristian again at breakfast who was going to spend the day job hunting. We wished him luck and headed off to get ready.

We had discussed maybe going to see the Sydney Tower Eye but weren't quite sure. Just as we were passing the shops, a man came out of an independent travel agency and hassled us about if we were backpackers and had booked all the stuff we wanted to do. We said we hadn't and were thinking about trying to book our Whitsundays and Fraser Island tour. He got us to come in and spent around 45 minutes discussing the tours available and going through a quote and stuff. He was quite pushy and we hasn't heard of Wicked Travel before so after much discussion, managed to get away from him saying we would discuss and probably come back.

We wandered around to find somewhere for lunch to mull things over and found a cheap-ish cafe where we had a chicken burger and chips. Both of us agreed that we didn't want to book with a company we hadn't heard anything about and so decided to try a company called Peter Pan which we had heard good things about. They had many more people in their offices and a friendly guy called Miguel offered us his help. We told him we hadn't really planned our time out that much and so weren't sure what exactly we wanted to do apart from Whitsundays and Fraser Island. And so began a very long session where he showed us all the things we could do in quite good detail and planned out the rest of our time in Oz with stuff practically everyday.

I cannot stress how much information it was to take in in such a small amount of time and then being asked at the end of it whether we wanted to book it all. It felt like such a big decision which we couldn't just make in the moment but we have paid 20%25 of the price now and are thinking about what to do next. Half of us feels that the amount he quoted for everything is so much money but it will cover most of our meals and accommodation and it all sounds ridiculously amazing. Any advice on what to do would be appreciated. We think we will end up booking it all as you only live once and all the stuff we do want to do but it's just having the confidence to book and know it'll all go to plan.

We have just booked two nights in the YHA Hostel right by Bondi Beach so we can spend more time there and also then our coach from Sydney to Byron Bay. We have also booked to do a tour of the Blue Mountains tomorrow which looks good. So much booking and decisions. We might explode...
