After our quick look around Kristianstad this morning (Video and photos at the end of yesterday’s blog entry) we head back in an Easterly direction toward Helsingborg.

Helsingborg is only a short distance over the water dividing Sweden and Denmark and would be an alternate route from Copenhagen to Sweden from the route we took across the Oresund Bridge. We have a look around the harbour area before continuing the journey west towards Goteborg (or better known as Gothenburg).

Further up the coast we stop (because we liked the shape of the drawn building on the brown tourist roadside sign) at Varberg. Amazingly, the building looked just like the sign.

Once in Goteborg, we checked into our B & B (The Aprikosen) and then drove downtown to explore the shops and sights. Being late in the afternoon, stores were closing so we bought some nibbles and drinks and went back to the B & B and sat in their lovely courtyard until late as the sun sank very slowly on the western horizon.
