We spread open the cabin’s curtains to a cloudy morning and a sight of tenders coming and going from our ship to shore. There is no hurry to go ashore today as we have no tours planned and will just walk around the port town of Falmouth when we disembark. Falmouth, on the river Fal in Cornwall, has the 3rd largest deep water natural harbour in the world.

Having spent a good deal of time in Cornwall on our last trip to the UK, today affords a good opportunity for a bit of housekeeping and catch up as our journey north into Europe towards Scandinavia continues with relentless pace.

Had a chat with Jess and Gabby at Kyle's engagement party the other night. I really enjoyed catching up and we are going to get together soon to REALLY catch up. They are doing great.
