Its been a while since i have updated this blog. Mainly because for the last 5 weeks i have been on Utila doing the Divemaster course. Well as of yesterday i finished and am so ready to hit the road.
The course was good. I enjoyed the parts that improved my diving but i dont think im ready to become an instructor as of yet because i did find it difficult dealing with some of the students in the open water classes. All in all i did 50 dives here and still have yet to see a whale shark.
The only low point was having my camera pinched and losing 400 photos (except for the ones on this blog) which is why there are no pictures of Tikal, Rio Dulce or Utila. Hopefully i will pick up a cheap camera in the capital.
I managed to visit Roatan for 4 days and do some diving there as well and it is amazing to see the difference between the 2 islands. I certainly felt that the diving at Roatan was better but saying that i had some great nights in the bars and restaurants in Utila and the people i met at UDC were great fun.
The mainland tommorrow and then hopefully Nicaragua Saturday, i cant wait

hey peter, its tina just letting you know im loving reading your blogs and am quite jealous of what your doing! hopefully one day i can start some travels again....... take care xx
