Well its Easter Sunday and today marks the end of Semana Santa (Holy Week), the crowds have gone and there is only one more procession to go. The event culminated on Friday night when the population of Antigua quadrupled, there were 4 processions, the last one finishing in the early hours of saturday morning and there was a real party atmosphere. It also marks the end of my time in Antigua, tommorrow i head north for Lago de Atitlin. Its been a good month here and the time has just flown by but im looking forward to moving on. Antigua certainly has it charm with good food and bars and the people are very friendly and helpful. I wont miss the cobbled streets thou, they are murder on you ankles.
