Yesterday we completed our third and final day diving and then took the dreaded final test in order to become PADI Open Water divers with a licence to roam under the ocean to a depth of 18m!! Fortunately we both passed with flying colours (after one or two scares!) and got our well earned cards!
The following morning we got up (after Sam had some more dreams about having enough hair to style - no really!!!) and then set off to visit Kanchanaburi!
On arrival we booked into some cool huts which were actually siuated on the river and then hired bikes to explore the small city. After taking the scenic route for a few hours (we weren't lost...honest!) on the smallest, most uncomfotable bikes on the planet we visited the war museum, cemetary and the bridge over the River Kwai which was built by prisoners of war and Asian civilians (the bridge cost 113,000 lives) during the second world war under the brutally strict regime of the Japanese. 2 nights was enough to explore Kanchanaburi and we set off to the sunny island of Ko Samui on an overnight Thai sleeper train!!

Ok, thought id succumb to Pipe's and Bonwick's travels and finally post something. First thing id like to say is: Pipe i love the hat and i want a pic of you with the hat and on the tiny bicycle. Sam the hat looks good on you.
Well im back in Cyprus for a bit if you're remotely interested. Other than that not much going on over here, apart from Tevez and Mascharano joining West Ham, Cole swap for Gallas and Reyes for Baptista (bring on the beast!). But im sure you're clued up since you have access to the WWW.
