Starting to feel a bit lazy, been enjoying living in a house for a few weeks, the time has been spent fixing up the van, lots of home cooking and generally enjoying the area. Its amazing how you can fill up the day when you have nothing to do, Dexter our adopted dog has probably been spoiled with so much company and long walks.

But we are getting itchy feet now, even though we have been exploring the area we feel we should be doing something useful. So the major accomplishment over the last few weeks has been to set out our route over the next few months and get some farm style work under our belts.

We have joined two web sites HelpX and Workaway where you can exchange work for food and accommodation on thousands of different opportunities all over the world. Almost as soon as we joined we have found interesting jobs with some great people from here all the way along the south coast towards New South Wales, we have four booking already which should be good to help keep us busy over the next few, probably cold, weeks.

So in the next few moths we will be gardening, looking after horses, more pet-sitting and generally tying to shit our holiday bellies with some hard graft!

There isn't really to much more to report this time, we did go to a local potato festival in Trentham, and yes it was a bizarre as it sounds!

I'm currently reading a travel stories book, they say we enjoy travel disasters more than idilic tales of how great every destination is, I tend to agree its the disasters and struggles we look for in a good travel story, it also keep my writing the blog more interesting as well.

So please stick with us we hope to be able to provide you with some tales of woe very soon!
